  • What they are saying is that they have a Tesco current account opened before April 2017. Which did not require DDs to get the interest. Just a pay in of £750 per month.
  • We have two Tesco accounts without the need for any dd's or the need to fund them with £750 per month. I think these conditions came in just after we opened ours.
I came into this world with nothing and I've got most of it left.

I think you are talking about Direct Debits (DD's) FROM Tesco Savings account. Whereas I'm talking about DD's FROM Tesco Current Account. i.e. DD's setup on the current account. The account type under discussion in this thread, if I may add.

I need neither DDs nor a minimum monthly pay-in as my Tesco current accounts are old the old variety which do not require either. I do know the difference between Tesco savings and Tesco current accounts as I have been using both types for many years.
