in House buying, renting & selling
Evening all,

I am currently in the proces of looking for a house to buy. I have seen a lovely house for sale, but at the end of the description it says "Under the estate agents act 1979 we are obliged to disclose that our client is a 'connected person'

Should this worry me? The house has also been on the market sine November.

    Not really, it just means that the seller is an employee / friend of an employee etc. You can ask (they might not say) what the precise relationship is.

    It's more of an issue where a buyer is connected to the agent, who might favour that buyer over others offering a higher price.
    A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.
