My free Experian Credit report says I have a missed payment. How do I find out the details of what this might be?

How can you not know?
If you have looked at your credit report then you will have seen which account it refers to.
Otherwise just sit down and have a good think about what you haven't paid.0 -
I feel like I must be getting a differently formatted report than everyone else. I get the free one through this website. There is a list of emojis and there is a sad one next to a heading saying 'missed payments'. The text says it is because of a missed payment but no specifics. As far as I know, I haven't missed any.0

I found the link to the detailed information and it says I have no defaulted accounts so this is all a bit peculiar!0

A missed payment is not a default.
Look closer at the detailed payment history for each account and you will find it.0 -
Hi Ben8282
What is classed as a default then? My partner has the following on their credit report - are they defaults or something else? How are they viewed by lenders?
Barclaycard - (payment up to 1 month late) in March 2012 & December 2011.
T-Mobile - (payment up to 1 month late) in July 2012.
Thanks

They are classed as late payments not defaults.
3 isolated instances of late payment so long ago should have little if any effect on your partner's credit worthiness if everything has been ok since.0 -
Thank you Ben
I just assumed a late payment would be considered a default. Thank you for this.In it to win it!0
