Hi
I received a parking charge notice through the post after shopping at Matalan in Bury just over a week ago.
I know this has been covered on many threads already, though I couldn't find a scenario similar to mine.
My vehicle was parked on the car park directly in front of the bury store which belongs to matalan. Went inside, spent £90 and left around 45 minutes later.
A letter has since arrived requesting payment of £85.
Apparently there are signs there saying there is a £1 charge for parking (which was not paid)
Also attached is photographic evidence of my vehicle which shows the drivers face.
Should I pay this fine or is it worth my while appealing?
Needless to say, I won't be shopping at any matalan store again whatever happens.

Could you please help me with which template to use?
Is it the blue lettered one?

the simple answer is YES
the reason is that you should have checked the BPA website (and the IPC website as well) and seen which ATA they belong to
then you use the appropriate template , in this case the BPA template in blue text
so now you know for the future
AND COMPLAIN TO MATALAN AND DEMAND A CANCELLATION0 -

Just received an email saying the fine has been cancelled following sending the apeal template.
