USB only charger socket???

Ok, one for techies/sparkies.
I am making a bedside lamp and would like to include a USB charging point, to turn it into more a nighstand - coin tray, watch holder, phone stand etc. I dont want a full plug socket too (that would be the backup plan) as would be too big but would like a small USB socket installed in the wooden base. This would be mains powered, seperate to the lamp. Ideally I would like this to look retro, but anything is better than nothing.
Does anyone know if this exists? If so, any links?
Thank you.

I have seen this in the USA but because of the smaller sockets they usually include a socket too. Its a very good idea, I would like to do similar.Mr Generous - Landlord for more than 10 years. Generous? - Possibly but sarcastic more likely.0

I am looking for one of these with a single or double usb, so the plate is smaller.

However may just leave it as wireless charging is growing and having a socket lying flat is not the safest - split drinks, things falling into it etc.
Will have a rethink.
Thanks anyways, and if you know of one, please post.0 -
Probably not quite what you are looking for, but have you looked at the USB charger euro modules. You might be able to adapt one to fit.0

Interesting idea. This looks fairly compact while supplying the full 2 amps

[Edit - perhaps that is what Gloomendoom was suggesting]
For a vintage look, I suppose you'd need one where it's just the socket and circuit board to leave you free to design your own facia plate.0 -
For a UBS socket with a small face, one of the ones that are fitted to many cars may be suitable (although you will need a suitable transformer/rectifier unit to power it but this shouldn't be too big.

If you are thinking about a built-in wireless charger, maybe consider this from IKEA: It has a USB socket too.0
