  • So annoyed tonite. Trying to get the photos off my phone so it's empty for the summer. I've always had Apple and I've always been annoyed around the way u get photos off an apple device and it not having external memory. So one year ago when my contract was up I decided to go with Samsung mainly for the memory card and the ease of drag and drop....

Well for some reason drag and drop isn't working and I can't get my photos off my phone onto my laptop. It's taken me three hours and I've had no luck so I've given up. Sooo sooooo annoyed:mad::mad::mad:

  • Thanks AFK. I've asked a few people and they have no idea why. I've found a really slow and frustrating way to do it which I am doing now but it is literally going to take me days which is annoying.

Checked mortgage interest today and it's gone down to £82.60 :) not really much I can do to make it go down until 2018 which i find really frustrating. I should really total up and finalise julys figures too but my brain isn't working atm with trying to deal with these photos and my phone. May try doing it later.

Went to the beach today (a man made one for the summer) DD had a great time. They made a small pool too for the kids to play in which DD loved!! And much safer than the sea and I don't have to go in either so win win situation :)

August I'm not expecting to have a high total as I won't be ebae ing much as on holidays and will be spending to my budgeted amount. But I do have £90 TCB pending from my energy switch so hopefully it gets cashed out in August and I'll add it to Augusts total :)

That is an excellent price for a fixed camera, well done DSM! :)
  • Thanks Squirrel. I thought I'd have a go at doing it myself and it's ok so far so I'm glad I didn't take it to the shop to be replaced. It probs would have costed a fortune.

Went to town today for the lego shops monthly free mini build so DD was happy. We also had coffee and cake in JL with our free coffee and cake vouchers that we get with their loyalty card. Dentist appointment for DD tomoro. Nothing else planned... I'm hoping for a bit of sunshine tho!!

New forever home- Sep’21 £309,449 @ 2.05%. Plan to clear it before 30 years!!!!!!
  • Horrible weather again so after the dentist I took DD to Ikea play area so she can run around before going home. Went and got a free drink and free trek bar today with my shopimum app and posted one ebae item. I've been using android pay since Santander is giving 5% cashback on every transaction so when I filled up petrol I made sure it was just under £30. Havnt really been tracking this tho so when the payment comes through it'll be a nice little surprise of what the amount is. I've been buying stuff for my sister too so I get 5% of everything she gets me to buy so win win situation there. It does mean my stooze pot has stopped increasing but 5% cashback is higher than I the interest I would get anyway.

Planning to meet some friends at the beach tomorrow so fingers crossed it stays sunny.

I have no items listed now on ebae as we're away for a week but must remmeber to get listing again when we're back...

  • Feels like a long time since I posted! Back to work today. Back to reality and back to saving as much money as I can to clear this mortgage! After having a week off I feel like I don't even know where I am atm with my finances so back to this diary to keep focus!

So I had saved up some money to go away this week and that money was used to spend on everything we had to for the week. Hotel, petrol, food, eveything...
