can someone please advise me on my supplier
hi all.i hope someone can offer me some clear advice on this.
iv lived at my address for approx 11 years.in which time iv been harrassed by all them sales men offering me cheaper gas and electric bla bla.anyway weve always payed £6-7 a week on a electric prepayment meter.until i changed to EDF.
we are now paying £10-15 a week and i cannot afford it.
my gas costs never seem to go up or down and im happy with british gas for that.i did at one time have their dual supply but found the electric to be more expensive.
so im looking to change only my electric.
it has to be prepayment as i like to know exactly what im spending.
right now my tarrif info is
EDF energy standard
region=seeboard
standing charge=10.96 a day £40.01 a year
unit charge=9.765p
electricity useage=5243kwh per year
is there a supplier that doesnt have the standing charge?
who do you recommend i switch too?
iv tried the comparison sites but they all seem to tell me different so i figured hearing it first hand would be better
thanks for your time

Cos do have no SC tariffs but generally the SC is replaced by the first units a quarter being higher priced. The EDF one for your area ia
SEEBOARD 13.55p 14.23p 9.30p 9.77p, the red is inc VAT and the higher price is for first 900 units a year. IMHO unless you are a very small userit works out pretty much the same. Have you considered EBICO, as they have flat pricing?
