Switched and saved £160

I had not realised that price of home contents and building insurance had come down so much.
I had been with swift for a few years , not switched previously partly out of complacency and also brief checks didn't reveal significant saving.
But this year I decided to take a little tilme to use a couple of comparison websites to check if I was getting vfm.
Was shocked to find that I could get such a big saving of £160 . I could have gone cheaper but the deal I ended up using gave me some extras such as new for old and emergency cover.
I went back to swift and gave them the opportunity to bring their price down but they could only manage a measly £40.
Amazed and feeling smug :j
