Bare root fruit trees now at Asda
There was a thread some time back about wanting bare root fruit trees from supermarkets
None were around a the time of the posting, but in case anyone is thinking of getting some from supermarkets and the like I spotted new ones now in Asda this morning
The usual suspects, apples, pears, plums, limited varieties of course, but at £4.50 you can't be too choosy
They have not been out long, so not yet sprouted or gone leggy with shop warmth
I noticed that Cox's orange pippin was amongst them, for any newbie gardener DYOR but COP is not the easiest or best option for a novice gardener, just saying
PS I guess other SM will follow soon as spring gets near

Eight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens
