Thank you posters for ALL your recommendations. Since there are now loads of them, which of them do u guys think is the best deal (taking into account-my tiny budget of around £50)? I personally think 'bargainbabe's is the best out of them all.
I am fussy am I not? But then again, when it comes to money, most people are fuddy, aren't they? Cos if they did not, what's the point of MSE! :D
    Thank you again guys!!

LOL- Are you for real!? You won't find a higher spec camera (5mp 3x optical, etc) for £50. Double your budget then you will get a lot more. (obviously ;) )

Well again, that all depends on how much you are willing to spend. The other ideas on this thread are for budgets higher than yours. If £50 is your total spends then I personally think you have a no brainer.

Hey Mon3y I don't think BargainBabe meant it like that - she's just pointing out a fact - don't get funny. She has fulfilled your requirements you should be thanking her.

In fact I'm going to look at her suggestion too, as I've only got a small amount of money to spend too.

What the Hell! Posting what I posted? If I was so "well off" as you put it, then why would I bother with this site? I was actually trying to point the fact that you can't expect to get a high spec camera for a £50. However, the one I did point out was about as high spec as you're gonna get for £50 and the other cameras mentioned in this thread are actually DOUBLE your budget.

So sorry for trying to help you. My mouth will be firmly shut in the future. :silenced:
