When I started there was something available almost every day, so it didn't take me very long at all. I managed to add around £1k of new money this week, including a fair bit from the secondary market. I always try to have some spare cash available, because you never know what might pop up.

About 6 weeks to spread my money across 50 loans. That did involve a fair bit of 9 am fast clicking to catch the renewals, though, and even then I ended up missing out on some.

I got approx £1k invested over a fortnight, mostly @ £25 per loan. Could have got a lot more invested if I'd had money already deposited. Sometimes there's very little available but a couple of afternoons this week there was huge availability on the SM.

Thank you for your replies I certainly am going to stick with collateral to get investments spread out, I got some loans added this week as well and I deposited some cash to have ready for any new loans appearing to build things up.

I missed out on a few as they filled so quickly, the 9am is quite difficult to catch these with starting work at that time and some I saw were gone very quickly. I have been checking the P2P forum too were Collateral staff also post updates so that is helpful.

That is interesting how some of you have got your money spead and the time scale to do so. Thanks again for the replies

Was able to get my remaining funds in my account placed into new loans today on Collateral, plenty of movement with the new loans released and the captial back from the hotel loan as well which I swapped into the Chelsea flat loan.
