Marbles Card

It's poor.
I have a Vanquis and now the Marbles which was accepted the other day. I'll leave it at that until I can get one with one of my banks.
Just trying to rebuild credit until my defaults and CCJs drop off in about 3 years.0 -
Two cards is enough to help, but no harm in doing a few soft searches. You could try a catalog like lookagain or JD Williams. JD Williams seem to accept anyone.
I've had past problems and had to rebuild, I started with Capital One and Barclaycard inital, JD Williams and Very.0 -
Yeah, I've also got JD Williams and Freemans account. Purely for rebuilding.
I got a £250 overdraft the other day too so not sure if my bank score is improving!0 -
It must be....I've not asked my bank for an overdraft because I don't really want one. I've learnt from passed mistakes to only spend what I have 0

Yeah, tbh I don't use it. I just thought it may look good on my credit report but doesn't seem to even show.0

I don't understand the attraction with Marbles
I started off with a Barclaycard Initial and then they allowed me to transfer it over to a Barclaycard Freedom Rewards Card.
Barclays is unlikely to go out of business and the Card is a Visa Card.
Barclays Initial was originally the only Company to accept me and I started
with a £150 Credit limit. Now 3years later I have there Reward Card (1 point for every pound you spend and 2 points if its in a Supermarket) and a £3000 Credit Limit.
I only spend what I can afford to pay off each month.
I hope my story helps others that you can get there!
Interestingly though just out of curiosity, I tried to apply to Marbles yesterday just to see what would happen and they declined me lol
Who knows how these Companies minds work. I found it very amusing0
