I was delighted to have news of 2 upheld claims from Santander for Mothercare account (letter dated 26/11/2018) and Debenhams account (letter dated 03/12/2018), both taken out in late 90's.
I was told in both cases payment would be issued in 14 days. The time passed and I received letters (dated 19/12/2018 and 31/12/2018) stating the insurer was not a Santander company (Axa) but Santander has assessed all aspects of the complaint on behalf of the insurer. Also stating the insurer, following the decision to uphold my complaint, will be issuing a cheque for the value of the redress due to me within the next 10 working days. This is upcoming - 7th Jan for one and 15th Jan for the other.
Has this happened to anyone else ? Should I be concerned ?
