Hi I'm wanting to know if I can claim PPI from Lombard direct. I took out a loan with them in 2001 I defaulted on it and am still on a dmp with step change. The loan has changed hands lots of times as my other debts I could only afford a small payment it's taking a long time to pay off this loan and others. The Lombard loan ended me with a charging order I now owe a dca £2202 and £1303 to other debt company's which I pay every month religiously over the years it has affected my health but I feel i am getting somewhere all be it slowly.
I understand RBS deal with Lombard as they are no longer.
I would be grateful if anyone could advise. The loan with Lombard was for £2000 but with fees over the years and interest which the court stopped at the time of hearing. It would hep to reduce my debts if I could claim.
Regards

If you had PPI you can complain yes, any successful complaint will probably be offset against the unpaid money, giving you an earlier debt free date
Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

I will find the RBS address and send the complaint to them.”Pour yourself a drink, (tea for me now)
