When should a DRO disappear from my credit report?

Options
Hi,

Due to my circumstances in the past, I had to file for a Debt Relief Order. I have recently been in touch with the insolvency agency to confirm when my DRO was made/completed (cannot remember) because me and my partner wish to get on the property ladder.

After googling for days, I cannot get a straight forward answer. Can someone please advise when my DRO will most likely disappear from my credit report? I have included a snippet of the letter from the Insolvency Agency confirming when my DRO ended.

"...I refer to your recent enquiry regarding the end of the moratorium period applicable to
your Debt Relief Order. I can confirm that the moratorium period ended automatically
on the 7 November 2012..."

I am confused about whether it will disappear 6 years after the "moratorium period" or 6 years after the date I filed for the DRO, which I'm guessing was in 2011 according to the statement above.

Please help!

    Hi,

The DRO entry in the "public information" section of your credit file, would of continued to show the DRO for three months after the moratorium period finished, you would also still of been on the insolvency register for that period to.

The defaults associated with the debts included in your DRO would all drop off your file six years from the date of default (docent matter which debt solution you choose, defaults stay for six years regardless).

So from what you say, they should be dropping off your file this year sometime, check your credit report for the full details.
