congrats  how long did this take for you? and what documents did they ask for? did they also contact your employer?

We first submitted our full application on 3rd May

we sent 3 months bank statements
3 months tax (im self employed)
    3 months payslip
    rent reference
    p60
    electrol role evidence
    passport
    driving licience
    deposit proof

Im not aware that they contacted the employer - but worked there for nearly 4 years and on a perm contract

Your broker can chase for a reason and it can be appealed if they have got something wrong or missed something

We have been contacted for more information today. Landlord references, employer references and also direct debit queries.
  • Hi, how long does the application take to get an offer ?TIA
  • Mine took around 3 weeks from processing the application to getting an offer, i was asked for lots of documents but apart from that, I couldn't fault the process at all.
  • Hi all,

Just an update for anyone wondering on timescales.
We submitted docs needed (bank statements, payslips, application form) and received back the formal offer within 17 days. Seemed to be conflicting info on when they survey was being done but unsure whether this was our broker or Kensington.

    However so far so good!
  • I got sent this today from FA

Question regarding rent payments for a adverse credit mortgage. My partner had rent arrears that were being cleared monthly on her council property and were paid off 7/8 months ago. Is this likely to be an issue?
