HELP!! No remote....how to use TV manual buttons to get the 'ok' function?

Hi. Cust a long story short. Need to urgently get TV to sick G/F in hospital. Remote lost,ALBA 2288 22 inch TV/DVD combo. No codes ANYWHERE on line. Called Argos where TV bought....also SKY protect to help with programming remote-no codes/nothing worked. Tried 'auto -search' on an urber cheap 'all in one' tv controller-still no joy,

Managed to use manual tv buttons (vol+/vol_, channel + & channel -, source & menu) to tune freeview but need to click 'ok' to correct a screen message of 'LCB Conflict' (says GBR in drop down box-please select target region to process). Any ideas?

Hi guys! Sorry for late reply. Dipsomaniac-it's not a smart TV so app does not work (crappy ALBA from Argos!)-Shaun-signed up for free trial on PRIME (not had a free trial for ages & took the free trial details no problem)-ordered for pickup locally (SO much better than waiting in for delivery!)-nipping to quid shop for aerial flylead-partner now in hospital so will be up & running tonight.

WHY oh WHY is ALBA combo's impossible to get remote codes for????! Called SKY (who are sending new remote which WILL work but 4-5 days delivery)-no joy on present remote-called ARGOS as bought from there-they said 'just buy new remote'....tried 'auto scan' on an all in one controller-nothing.

If you have any other tv remotes they may work partially or fully regardless of what tv they are intended for.
