Parking fine advice

Hi guys :)

Around 2 years ago I received 2 parking charge notices from an NCP carpark in Birmingham. I ignored all of the letters and the final notice etc and never heard anything back. I have since moved home and I sold the car not long after having the fines. I am just wondering if I will ever receive anything back about this or receive an unwanted ccj without knowing etc? Has this happened to anyone or can anyone help put my mind at rest? Should I just forget about the whole thing?

Thanks in advance

NCP don't sue people after they got their fingers burnt the one time they are known to have faced a driver in court, who sued them for towing his car away and illegally keeping it from him. Cost them tens of thousands in costs, to lose the case :

And if the car park was a railway one - like in the linked case, where NCP apparently had to pay very hefty sum in settling 90% of Mr Mayhook's costs - then the chances of enforcing a charge under railway byelaws ends after only six months. But NCP charges are not real byelaws 'penalties' so they will send letters for years.

However, the smart advice is to see ALL letters (just in case) so, write to give a parking firm your new address (ideally if you have the PCN numbers to quote) to ensure that they don't later change their stance and issue a stealth CCJ to an old address without you knowing.

Never admit to NCP who was driving. They can't hold a registered keeper liable, hance you write as that party.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
