I thought changing utilities was meant to be eassy
Aaargh, I thought it was meant to be easy to compare utility accounts. I'm nearly tearing my !!!!!!! hair out here. I only want to know how to compare my gas supply, not my electric but I can't seem to get anywhere.
I tried reading the martin lewis blurb but it makes no difference. Every time I try the piggin sites keep asking about my leccy. I don't want dual fuel accounts!
I've come to the conclusion I may as well stay as things are, especially as I'm in the library swearing like a navvy.
I got sick of getting stopped in the street by some cretin trying to get me to change to their company, so I thought I'd check in the library how to change companies - but now my swear box is going to be full! I'll just put it towards the charge hikes. The last hour is something I'll never get back!!!! I'm going for a cake now as I'm right peed off.

Sign up to MoneysavingExpert Cheap Energy Club and it has a box on the LHS of the comparison page for single fuels.
TheEnergyShop.com website asks at the top of the page whether you want to compare gas and electricity, or gas only or electricity only. Most comparison sites have the same options.0 -
Have you tried uswitch.com? It lets you change from duel fuel to gas/elec etc on the right once you filled out some basic info

@dazza-mac
A really easy site (and one that covers the whole market) is the Citizens Advice Bureau. It also asks for the absolute minimum of information and does not save it so your privacy is safe too
https://energycompare.citizensadvice.org.uk/ Click on the "GAS ONLY" image then continue.0 -
Hi dazza-mac
When registering with Cheap Energy Club, after selecting your address it should ask 'What type of energy do you use?'.
If you only want to compare gas, you can select 'Gas Only', and it'll only ask you for your gas details.
I hope this helps.
