Can I copy a document from Open Office onto Word 10

I want to copy a document I have on Open Office onto my Word 10 document file which I have recently installed. How can I accomplish this transfer please.I wish to send the document out to a group of people both in Open Office and Word Format.

    I suggect you save as .doc and .odf and attach both formats.

    Bear in mind that there be slight variations as each format is saved. But I would concentrate on the .doc format as OpenOffice can open them quite readily, rather than the other way around.

    Alternatively send it to all people as a Rich Text Format file (.RTF). This is accepted by all* word processors.

    For Word 2010 (and no doubt other word processors) the file size of an RTF file CAN be very much larger than a .DOCX file IF the document contains tables or graphics.
