You do realise they are not laid ready-boiled !!

Hope all are having a good relaxing bank holiday - it has been gloomily dull here !0 -
elizabethhull It would be great if they were laid ready boiled. Think of the gas I could save. Very MSE
We didn't collect the girls yet but they have been ordered. Probably getting some tomorrow ( the bog standard brown variety) and then some prettier ones in a few days. We have two hen houses and two runs so they can get to know each other through the wire first, then we can let them all roam free range together with (hopefully) not too much squabbling.
DGD thinks we have two white hens named after Frozen characters so I am thinking of buying two white and maybe some speckled or Marans.....
The weekend was very quiet. My get up and go, got up and went. So I mainly watched TV, and went outside when it was not too hot or too windy. I did a small amount of weeding, but every little helps. It was drizzling yesterday morning but otherwise was dry.
Doctors this afternoon. My weeks seem to be peppered with medical appointments at the moment. Nothing serious just lots of follow ups.
I have updated cc debt... £3758 on high interest and £400 on 0% card. It doesn't seem to be going down much but it will do a little bit faster now. We are paying £200 a month on dd to high interest so each month a little more is paid off.
And at end of each day I will put the odd pounds from current account into credit union (to make it a 0 ending number) e.g. if we have £333.33 I will put £3.33 into credit union. If it is too much to sustain and still pay bills I will change it to weekly. We used to do this every day with wallets and purses but now we rarely use cash. We have no bank here any longer and cash point runs out of cash regularly.
Recycling and reusing is going well. Mr P made fencing for vegetable patch from old shed. The plan is to try to keep the hens off the vegetables. They do love to dig them up
The raised beds are made from old beams from the cottage when we did the renovation. Mr P is going to pick up some old pieces of timber, to make fence posts, from a builder friend.
Our kindling is made from old lats from DB's house which is being renovated atm.
And I gained some paint from Freegle to get started on my window frame for the porch. I am replacing just one window frame. Then I can use the good wood from part of it to repair the next part. When I say 'I', I really mean Mr P and hopefully DS2, if he feels up to it.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

This week I had second session with counsellor. Not so difficult as first....but I didn't go to knit and natter afterwards as a result of it.
DD took me to Chiro yesterday and then we went to soft play with the grandchildren. It was great being out watching them play but not so much fun when little one needed rescuing just as DD took DGD out to the loo.
Luckily there were some older girls who were great and helped DGS. I wasn't going to walk over a rope bridge :eek:
I spent £15 in Waitrose as it is next door to soft play. Not planned. But got lots of good offers and tempting snacks for DS2. Trying to get him eating more...business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

It doesn't 'hurt' at all to Tilly tidy. And it soon mounts up
I ordered some fabric to make myself a long sleeved top. It only cost £6 and I can use leftover pieces of fabric for hair scrunchies or something else small.
It would have been a NSD. Almost made it as I ordered fabrics at 11.55pmbusiness mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Beanie I went in to get cashback. But forgot when I saw the bargains.
I spent £15 in coop last night. Not part of the plan....
Almost down to our last £5 until next payday on 9th.
My PIP assessment is tomorrow. So we need diesel in the car. I am pretty sure we have enough..It is 70 mile round trip. No where to park nearby the assessment centre. Just to make things more difficult...
The CBT guy says I have to sew. Any ideas? I have lots of fabric and threads now.
When my new fabric arrives I will make a top for me which is much needed. I am still wearing things from before I lost weight.
ETA We just received a new booking for the cottage in June. It is for a midweek break so it means a bit of extra money coming in to pay the cottage bills.Only one week left in June, July and September are full. August isn't yet as cottages4you are asking silly prices, £780! They will reduce them nearer the time and people will think they have a bargain. It annoys me.
