Cheers guys, the canon 4200f looks great but...... is the 4400f any better as i have found it at £55 inc delivery etc.
Seems to be better on the dpietc and looks a better machine. Any thoughts?
Hi, I was in the same boat a while back and after some investigation I opted for the 4400 which I thought was an excellent piece of kit. In the end I was quite sneaky - I got it from Argos, did my scanning and then took it back under the 14-day moneyback g'tee. Hee hee! I would have kept it but I have no free space on my computer desk.
p.s. Maybe you can do this with other scanners, but the canon had great software that enabled you to place more than one photo (not overlapping) on the flatbed at a time. It's software would then scan and produce as many seperate images as there were photos (i.e. one image per photo). In this way I was able to plough through my collection quite quickly.0 -
Seen the 4400f on the net for £56. Its £69 ish in Argos. Unless you take it back of course...... not sure i agree with the ethics of doing that plus i want one to keep anyway.I save so I can spend.0
