Present for mum getting remarried

My mum (in her late 50's) is getting remarried and I want to get them both a present but am a bit lost at what to get. The wedding is only going to be small, and my partner is going to take pictures which I will then retouch, so I thought getting those printed and framed might be nice, but that would mean that I would turn up empty handed on the day. They have many pets so booking a weekend away for them wouldn't work! They have lived together for years so house stuff isn't applicable, and I don't know the area they live in enough to buy a restaurant voucher or anything (have had a google but haven't found anything suitable). Any suggestions?
No more goo hoarding!

"Experience day" or spa pamper treatments?

A classy photo frame with a comedy stick man drawing of the happy couple, and a note saying you'll fill it with a nice photo after the day.
Plus a petsitting voucher so they can have a weekend away (unless you're allergic to animals). They are an EYESORES!!!!0 -
Afternoon tea, nice frame / album that that can put the pictures in once they're done, nice bottle of champagne, engraved cheese board, plant/something for the garden. Have a look on http://www.notonthehighstreet.com/weddings0

A nice engraved pair of champagne glasses, you could probably buy them ready made with Bride and Groom but if you wanted a more personal touch you could have them engraved with your own words and the date. Plus a bottle of fizzy stuff to go with them.0

This was my first thought, a photo frame or a nice album for the photos to go in afterwards.
Maybe something like this... ? http://www.johnlewis.com/hearts-traditional-photo-album-large/p717254

From one of my husbands sons we got the champagne glasses and a bottle of champagne with our names and date of marriage printed on the label.0

I'd buy them a nice box, laquered or wood carved that kind of thing, a real nice one. Then tell them they have everything so here the box to put it all in!,Fully paid up member of the ignore button club.If it walks like a Duck, quacks like a Duck, it's a Duck.0

I'd steer away from buying any 'stuff'. People of your mum's generation are generally trying to declutter. I'm sure an experience is the way to go.
Making arrangements to look after the animals obviously has to come first. If you can't manage to do that for a weekend away then perhaps for a day out or even a meal in a good restaurant.
Failing that buy something consumable to have at home like champagne or a case of wine or beer with gift tokens to the local take away or whatever they enjoy.0 -
Notonthehighstreet are fabulous for things like this. Great suggestion!mai_taylor wrote: »Afternoon tea, nice frame / album that that can put the pictures in once they're done, nice bottle of champagne, engraved cheese board, plant/something for the garden. This link is for the Mr & Mrs gift section (show all/low to high): http://www.notonthehighstreet.com/wedding-gifts-department/by-recipient/mr-mrs?utf8=%E2%9C%93&view=many&filter%5Bdelivery_zone%5D=1&filter%5Bsort%5D=price
LOADS of fab ideas. Doesn't have to be something big or cumbersome, there are smaller things too, including lots of things for walls.
Good luck

If you would do the restaurant idea if you knew somewhere suitable why not tell us whereabouts they live, odds are someone lives nearby and could recommend somewhere0
