Checking if deceased mum had PPI

Options
MY mother died 4 years ago and I'd never really considered PPI for her, however with all the hype at the moment I've found that it is possible, I know she had loans and credit cards over the years that were all cleared before she died.
My main question is whether I have to trawl through the mounds of her paperwork to check or is there another way?

Thank you

If you are the executor of her estate then you can complain on her behalf, but you are limited to very factual complaints and can't use reasons that would require testimony from your late mother. In addition, I would expect you would have to find evidence of PPI from her own archive. There is nothing to stop you asking her old lenders, but records are likely to be scarce for a deceased person especially some years after her death.

You have to trawl through her papaerwork to see who she had credit with for starters, and then do as MI says above.
