No you're wrong, rejection and repair rights are in the first 30 days. After that the six month rule applies but it get very complicated when normal wear and tear can be taken into consideration. It is not automatic that the dealer must repair, far from it.Please correct me if im wrong..but wouldnt this fall under "Not fit for pupose" and then allows you in the first six months to have the dealer fix at his expense.?
Thought so...
Things like mileage age etc are taken into consideration and second hand cars can't be expected to be show room condition. Wear and tear is already building up and something always goes, doesn't mean it's the dealers fault just the costs or running a car.0 -
Just googled again, and found this. Paypal section about 2/3 down.
http://www.which.co.uk/consumer-rights/regulation/section-75-of-the-consumer-credit-act#payments-through-paypal
...................................If you particularly want to have the protection of Section 75 then try to pay the trader direct with your card.0
