Hi
I am setting up a Toshiba Satellite L50D for someone. I have completely re-installed Windows 8.1, and applied Drivers etc.
In the 'Control Panel' I am still seeing a single 'unidentified device,' even though the computer appears to be functioning as normal.
The 'Device Instance' of the unidentified device is:
ACPI\ASD0001\2&DABA3FF&2
I have searched for the above on Google, but still no luck in identifying it.
Any ideas on how I can identify this unidentified device?
Thanks

A very quick Google suggests AMD chipset drivers may be missing/incorrect.

...or...how to find missing Toshiba drivers...
There is a good method in order to find out what drivers are missing.
First of all you should check the DEV (device) and VEN (vendor) IDs
Here is an short instruction how to find this details:
http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/HTD0302U00000R01.htm
Knowing the device and vendor ID, it should not be a big deal to get the right drivers.
At the other hand you should install also additional Toshiba software (Toshiba System Driver) released for Win 8.1
Please note also that there are two Win 8.1 driver areas: “Win 8.1 update” and “Win 8.1 32bit/64bit” categories
In case you would not find all drivers within the Win 8.1 update check also the Win 8.1 32bit/64bit categories. If you put your general location in your Profile, somebody here may be able to come and help you.0
