Hi
I'm in south midlands and been quoted for the above.
Consists of new french doors from kitchen to conservatory.
Outside is currently part slab/grass.
1m foundations, 2 dwarf walls, 1 full brick, 250 mm cavity walls
Glass roof ultraframe.
french doors.
Wasn't expecting this much, before i go back or try elsewhere what is adding to the high cost.
Would it work cheaper to arrange the foundations/walls myself.
Thanks

I am involved with one at the moment. Size around 5x2.5m, walls on three sides, with conservatory likewise and with glass roof. It is new foundations, insulated slab, and finish to include plaster, decorate and carpet at £9000.0

Thanks for replies.
Went into a smaller local company earlier, gave him details of what I wanted, as per original quote, within minutes gave me a price of around 23k.
Not sure of how the 35k can be justified, although 23k is still expensive, guessed initially somewhere near 15k !
Furts post confirm to me though I was somewhere close.A shadowy flight into the dangerous world of a man who does not exist.

We had a 4 x 5m extension built for just under £36k in West Sussex.
Tiled roof with 4 x velux windows, 3m deep foundations, beams raised, opening widened, flooring, electrics and heating, plus folding interior doors.
£35K for a lean to conservatory someone is trying to take you for a ride. Even £23k sounds well over the top"We act as though comfort and luxury are the chief requirements of life, when all that we need to make us happy is something to be enthusiastic about” – Albert Einstein0 -

We paid £11k four years ago for similar, no dwarf walls, all glass, though.
