Time limit on claiming on PPI policy

I was very ill around 2002/3 and could not work. I have just realised I had PPI for that period.
I have documentation confirming that I was ill. Doctors notes etc.
Would it now be too late to claim on this policy?

You can certainly try, but you'd probably get more by arguing the PPI was mis-sold.0

Many thanks for the reply.
I have got an answer from the FOS in case anyone else is interested.
