Morning all
Happy Birthday RR:bdaycake:
Positive thoughts for your sister Dumpling
Not much happening here I am taking Dolly to socialisation class today so she will have a good run around for an hour in a safe enclosed area. She is getting a little better when we see other dogs but my back and knees are struggling as she has to sit next to me when they walk past and we have to hold her in that position
Dinner tonight pie n mash
Have a great day whatever you are up to x0 -
Good Morning all,

Judi you have the patience of a saint and bless you as its got to be really hard juggling the family and a grumpy OH plus you prodigal as well I think you are amazing.
tru take it easy with your shoulder and don't be crawling around on the floor for goodness sake . well done on the socket front I know it was great when i had my kitchen and sitting room redone I insisted that extra plugs were put in and was so pleased as there is nothing worse than trailing extension leads is there
R/R hope you have a great day and enjoy your take-away feet up and a glass of something nice with no washing up done on birthdays its the law of the land:):):)
Enjoy your bus ride and day off from cooking TA, nice to have a bit of a break and a mosey around now and again isn't it I am looking forward to next month when my friend and I go up to lancashire for our spring break We both love a good mooch around the CS, and try to leave the car behind and use the buses as we both have bus passes

Tonight is pub quiz night so no cooking for me as we get a small meal in with the price of the quizlunch will be a jacket spud with perhaps some grated cheese and a small beetroot and tomato salad.

Morning ((((((((((hugs)))))))))) if you need one and happy birthday to the birthday girls.
Bright morning, towels in the washer, should dry on the line, if not will finish them off in the dryer.
Better night last night, am generally feeling a bit better although I am not convinced my urine infection has gone, will see what the Dr says tonight. I also had a vein break in my thumb yesterday, its very purple, I have never had one as bad as that before.
OH is champing at the bit, his survey money has come through, he wants to get the wood for the deep beds. The ground is very wet just now.
Meter had now been changed so I can negotiate with the power company for cheaper rates for both gas and electric.
Time to get on, drink my tea and do the ironing.0 -
So we've had the conversation.
"You cant claim job seekers because they keep chucking you off!"
"You cant claim housing benefit because job seekers keep chucking you off"
"You cant eat or keep a roof over your head because job seekers keeps chucking you off!
"So what your saying to me is, you need to be fed and housed by me and your Dad for the rest of your life".
So he's cleared off... He'll be back.
His Dad should be dealing with this, not me.This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
AOD, I've never met anyone else before who can't eat peppers, the last few years I've found that even the smell when they are cut makes me feel ill.
Dumpling, good luck with the cooker and best wishes to your sister.
Tru, get someone else to do the painting.
LW, I hope you're still enjoying the company of LIzzie S.
I had a lovely, lazy day with DD yesterday at the spa. I kept dozing off but still managed a good night's sleep as well. I've got a hair appt this morning but it only takes 20 minutes to wash, cut and dry my baby fine hair so I shall go to Lidl for the weekly shop afterwards.
Apart from that I shall be sewing and perhaps having a little potter in the garden. We have decided to gut it and take out some shrubs that we hate (there are some I hate and some DH hates but only one we both like). The problem is deciding what to replace them with - I might look into asking someone from the local college that has courses in horticulture for their advice.0 -
Morning all,
I've returned from my friends stag in Liverpool. Had a whale of a time but spent to much so I'm kicking myself. Lessons learned.
Back to normality now. I've another flat viewing tonight, potentially 2, so I'm looking forward to that. Seems a really nice flat and I know the area well. Little bit pricey though.
Anyway, hope everyone is well. Have a nice day
Judi - Sending you hugs. Hope it all gets sorted soon.0 -

Youngest went out clubbing Saturday night and is still kicking himself over how much he spent. He's quite tight with his money naturally and spent £70.
Still, he doesnt go out very often but paid the price by staying in bed all of Sunday.:D

Hugs to anyone who wants or needs one
A rubbish night for me, tossed and turned till about 3.30am then decided to make a cup of tea. Back to bed but no sleep until 6 because my brain would not shut down worrying about all sorts. Will be fit for nothing tonight:(
DD came this morning, she's going to try to go back to work tomorrow but she still looks like death warmed up.
Not much work in me today as cba. Tea will be bbq spare ribs and rice both from the freezer.
Have a good day allFailure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently0 -
