i have a pretty decent scanner, if you bring the photo some evening I'll do it there and then so the photo wouldn't be out of your sight. PM me if you want, no charge BTW. I'm in Lisburn.0

Does anyone know if it is possible to get copies done immediately and if so where?
Any photo / printing booth or shop will be able to do this for you easily.
A mobile phone / camera on macro setting isnt really going to get you the result you need and once you have the image, you're still going to need to get it printed.0 -
As above - take it to a specialist.
The phone camera suggestion is daft for such an important photo.0 -
Boots in city centre will copy it, You say you want a reprint not a copy, that's not possible the only way you can copy it is with a scanner, the self service booths in boots do a great job0

Try a few local photography shops. They may do this for you.
It's seriously not. They'll use a scanner.
Even a cheapo one will have a photo quality mode, let alone the sort of one a photo shop will have.
I've a £39 Epson printer scanner and even it can produce very acceptable results in phot scan mode.
The only reason you'd do what you would propose would be to create a negative and who needs those these days?0 -
I haven't suggested its the perfect solution. I suggested trying it. It will be as good as the camera and user. Its worked for the last century.
No one suggested using a phone camera.0 -

You said (not suggested) "Without a negative this is how photographs are copied". It isnt and it hasnt been the easiest or best way since the last century.
Its 2017 now....0 -

Please find someone else to bicker with. Life's too short for point scoring nonsense.0 -

You gave the O/P information thats out of date by maybe 20 years and then said "that was how it was done".
It isnt.
Accept that.
Move on.
Though i'm sure you'll want the last word - you seem the type.0
