Brand Alley - Ripoff delivery and return fees

Brand Alley charge £5 for delivery
if you return the item they charge you £3.50 (The delivery fee is not refunded) and they only give you a collect.plus return sticker
So they charge £8.50 for delivery and return which i think is a ripoff

They also only give 14 days to return an item

If you only ever buy things that you know you need then you'll never have to pay a return fee. Alternatively, vote with your feet and shop elsewhere.

Which then means you have no legal right to return it if you change your mind, you have to physically travel to the store to buy it (and again if you need to return it). You also have less choice and it will almost certainly be more expensive.


Why would anyone buy in store?

The returns policy has recently changed.

Last time i bought something a royal mail returns sticker was included and was free to use/return

Also a 14 day return is against the law because according to UK policy we have 14 days to let the company know we are returning and another 14 days to return so 28 days

Amazon comply with this

Brand Alley and Shoeaholics do not

I buy online because i do not have to have a reason to return and also it is easier then coming home on the tube in rush hour
