How to create a page for your business on Linked In?

Hi Folks

I want to create a page for my business on Linked In. However, I get the impression that I need to include the company details on my personal profile i.e. stating that I own and work at the business at present. Is this correct?

Ideally, I want to create the business page but not include it in my main profile since I have a full time job and this business will only be conducted by myself at evenings and weekends etc?

Any advice greatly appreciated.

Just checked below and yes, in order to create it you need to work there so add to profile.

Im pretty sure you can be added as an admin (even if you dont work there) once the page has been created. There are probably ways around this but LinkedIn dont make it easy to deter fake profiles being set up for this very reason.
