lombard direct

i need some help and advice about claiming back ppi from one or more lombard direct loans, the major problem is i have no paperwork and the loan(s), and they go back maybe 10 years or more. i spoke to my bank who tell me they only keep statements for 6 years so they are unable to help. at the moment i dont even know how to contact lombard direct as i'm pretty sure they were bought out or sold to someone else years ago. i would really appreciate any help form anyone.
thanks in advance

I read somewhere that Lombard Direct PPI complaints are being handled by RBS, so you could phone their PPI helpline and ask or send a DSAR if you can find the loan account numbers.
