Credit card refunds due to errors

In the past 2 weeks we have had refunds from tesco and barclaycard, due to being charged late payment fee's when it wasn't necessary and being charged the wrong interest. Has anyone had this before?
Although it is nice to get a refund, how do I know this is correct? Should I push for more information and compensation?

You could ask. But when errors are identified, they normally QA the heck out of it before issuing the refunds.0

Ah ok, I just found it strange how there were no dates as to when the mistakes occurred or how they came to the figure given?0

Mainly because the people writing the letters don't understand the calculations. They've just been given a file of customers and amounts.
But they could have done a bit better.0 -
They certainly could! Makes you wonder how many more mistakes are there, that we dont know about!0
