Sorry, don't know how to do neat links0 -
The recipe I use isn't strictly a pork pie as it uses sausagemeat. It is good though and much less trouble than proper pork pie;)0

It's very good Thriftlady. I like to use pork and bramley apple sausages/sausage burgers as the meat content (bought RTC) - but suspect that good sausages and a grated bramley would work just fine too0

Hi, there! We have an existing thread on making pork pies, so I'll add this one to that to keep ideas together.

I've got some pork mince coming this morning from Waitrose. I got it as part of my £15 off £50 from Waitrose delivery. I decided to stock up on their meat offers.
So, this is on the menu chez moany tonight. Dh came home last night with a bunch of apricot (my fave) coloured free trade roses - ah! Nice treat for him.0 -
Delia's Pork Pie
Delia's Game Pie - you can improvise with the filling, but minced pork tends to be the usual base. You need some fatty meat to produce a moist filling so don't go for very lean pork - which is why shoulder is usually used.Warning ..... I'm a peri-menopausal axe-wielding maniac0 -
