Morning all,
We are looking at taking 2 x adults and 2 x children to London on 2 April for one night (daughter wants to see Madame Tussards!)
We have used railcards for the train, 2 for 1 on the entry fee, but are struggling to find a hotel.
Last time we visited we stayed in the London City Crowne Plaza for £100 inc b/fast but find it is now £158
We don't want to stay outside the city and travel in as we want to make as much use of our time there as possible.
So, any London hotel offers on at the time we want to stay?! Budget would be up to around £120.
Thanks.

Look on Airbnb. Me and my husband only ever use them now. We only rent complete flats/houses and they are almost always cheaper than hotels plus you can come and go as you please and have the choice of cooking if you want toThe world is over 4 billion years old and yet you somehow managed to exist at the same time as David Bowie0

You can get a family room in the Southwark Travelodge for £55 on that date. It's pretty close to Tate Modern etc so not too far out.All posts are my personal opinion, not formal advice Always get proper, professional advice (particularly about anything legal!)0

Most of the Premier Inns come in within your budget. Better located than the Travelodge and far nicer accommodation.
Which train station are you arriving at? I can highly recommend the PIs at Kings Cross and St Pancras if they're convenient to you.0 -
We would look to arrive at Kings Cross.0

Interesting!! To limit the walking (youngish children) do you know what area we need to be in? ie for Tussards or somewhere close by.
I have had a quick look, but don't know the areas they are in and google maps takes ages!0 -
