Good morning all, bright sun and quite a hard frost here this morning. Nothing planned, but so much needs doing indoors and out:(one of the less good things about my gentle recovery from chronic stuff is that I am now noticing all that needs cleaning/tidying and want to do something about it, but the ability and energy does not yet match the awareness IYSWIM:D

I have promised myself that I will get someone in to clean the ovens, I cannot manage it and OH does a bit now and then, but he really does have more than enough to do, I really must send that e-mail today, it may take a while to get done as I cannot find anyone locally and the guy I have found is a bit out of area.

Gers - I wish that I could be sharing your bus journey and thank you for the new thread. Positive thoughts to all that need them, take care.

  • Morning (((((((((( hugs )))))))))) if you need one.

Another sleepless one here, was still awake at 3 am, then went off and did not hear OH get up.

I need to get my bum out of bed and get on! It's a bright sunny morning, all the laundry is done, typical!! Need to get the Monday clean done and wash the kitchen floor. I guess OHbwill be out in the garden.

Still improving, have an appointment with the GP tomorrow.

    Good Morning OSers,
Nice and sunny here but still chilly. Hopefully get a load of washing out later as there was no chance yesterday.
At work and it is very quiet so just catching up on paperwork with a cuppa.
I was hoping for a NSD but i forgot we're having our hair done and the furbabies are out of treats...I did budget for the hair appointment tho so no surprise hit.
DD woke up with what seems the beginnings of a cold, hopefully it won't come to much.

    Right, onwards and upwards!
    Have good days all.

    Morning all,

Loads to do so i decide to bath the hounds instead. Well the weather is nice, its sunny and theres plenty of warm places in the house for them to finish off drying. I dont usually put the plug in the bath but i thought their 'nether regions' could do with a good soak. :rotfl:

Phone call from hubby, phone call from Prodigal and the hounds have found the warmest spot in the house. :D

    Onwards and forwards,

    Afternoon everyone.
Well we managed to get through the weekend but my house looked like a tornado had been through it, so spent this morning cleaning up and tidying. Grandchildren did a lot of crafting, mainly all over the dining room floor, including Easter bonnets ready for the parade and a lot of homework.
Slept like a log last night, almost 12hrs! That's what you get for sleeping (or not) with our two grandchildren, although DH did not sleep that well either as the spare bed was uncomfortable. I think it's time for a new bed in the spare room.
DD still quite poorly this morning so had a day off sick to go for a Drs appointment but wasn't much help and gave her more medication. But she has received an appointment for the local hospital in late April. Fingers crossed they can help her because I hate seeing her in so much pain and I can't take it away.
Sorry that turned into a moan:(
Will have to catch up later.
Tea tonight will be leftover chicken and something. Have a good Monday everyone.

As yesterday was quite hectic I am taking it easy today.

I looked out some things for a charity collection tomorrow morning, loaded the dishwasher and am slowly sorting out the dry laundry and putting it away.

Not sure whether to have salmon fillet or lamb steak tonight but need to start using up stuff from the fridge as there is a delivery of meat due on Thursday and I want to clear space in the fridge and freezer.

I need to set the alarm clock tomorrow to go to York for U3A and then take a parcel to post office for DD. DDs wanted to use the blue china for tea yesterday and poor son in law found his cup had crazed and cracked so it was leaking into his saucer  I had a look on a***on and think I have found tea cups that will match and are dishwasher safe.

    Hugs to all
