Morning
Posivibes for Jazee and everyone really.
It would have been CYs birthday today, blessings to her family.
I'm off to college. Hopefully no calls from school - DS been given Calpol and a pep talk:eek: why is it always on Wednesdays...
Have a good day.
Eurgh, just remembered my scan is later and I need to drink a gallon of water before, ok maybe not quite a gallon...Bossymoo
Away with the fairies :beer:0 -
Morning.
Day so far:
Woke with a mild to moderate hangover. Self-inflicted so no sympathy expected.
Rowed with husband. Standard before work.
Made his lunch and packed his bag with goodies (laced with venom)
Sent him off with a smilewhilst grabbing cats and dogs to prevent escape into the garden as three castrations booked for today. By DH. :eek:What was he thinking? Cats stuffed into their catboxes and hauled up to the car. BoyDog not wanting to lose his dangly bits pretends to be dead on his bag so I can't move him. Cue bribing of all three dogs with ham to get him moving and then had to load all three into the van.
Dressed boys. Rather dressed, redressed and redressed (again) Tiny who stripped off twice and is now at preschool without socks. Had to tell Small his trousers were on back to front. Surely that's uncomfortable? Then, despite being warned to tread carefully, Small managed a full-on face plant in the paddock in his school uniform....you know, when we are already running late! Aaarrrgghhh.....
At school. Have forgotten football kit. Small off to breakfast club. I zoom back home to collect PE bag. Return to school to find Small crying as he has banged his nose. Brief show of sympathy before off to the vets to struggle in with two cat boxes a large trembling hound and a semi-naked toddler.
Back home. Tiny feeds his scrambled egg to the not-yet-fed-due-to-operations starving dogs, which reminds me....
Off to preschool. Cue full on meeting of the feral savages in the corridor at full volume. Oh my days!
Home now. Cuppa. Watching Jeremy Kyle to remind myself, there are other families worse than mine.
If I hear anyone even sniggering, I'll be jolly cross.0 -
Morning all,
Thank you Lynnejk for the list. I did a massive deep clean of kitchen Sunday but will give it a spruce up again today so it doesn't build up over the week.
Hope you all have a lovely day.Happiness is wanting what you have...0 -
Whoops! Was sniggering then I got to the last line of Dizzy's post, and got scared
Posivibes to Jazee and her DH.
Remembering CY. It was indirectly through her that I really came to appreciate what a wonderfully supportive bunch of ladies you are.
WM x 1 run and hung up. WM filled again with DD bedding, but will need to wait as there is no room to dry any more and it is very wet outside. Dropped DD at school in time for music lesson, and then made good use of the time by going to Mr W on way back, as I had a voucher and it also made fuel sense. Pretty drive back through the very wet countryside.
Hair washed but decided to better use my time than drying it, so now bear a resemblance to Fozzy Bear. Vacuum cleaner about to be launched upstairs...0 -
Dizzy I momentary smiled but as soon as I read your last sentence my face went back to stone again .... no sniggers here. Honestly, you couldn't make it up could you.
Just finished my second job so whilst it's quiet going to do some housework as haven't put WM on or anything yet.
Sending humungus posivibes to Jazee and DH. Remembering CY too; hope her family are OK.
Bossy, really hope scan not late .... I've been kept waiting before and it was awful and then when they squeeze the cold gel onto your tummy ........ not good!!Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0 -

I'm back,
Since my last post I've :
Wm on
Made bed (I couldn't do it before I left this morning as OH was still in it!)
Cleared and wiped kitchen worktops
Wiped kitchen cupboard doors, front of dw, Wm, fridge and cooker
Cleared all carp from floor in master bedroom, downstairs hallway, stairs and bathroom
Im just having my lunch
Only one biscuit with my tea due to MFP shouting at me
Forgot to say earlier, positive vibes for Jazee and DH, plus I'm hoping any poorlies are feeling better x0 -
Since this morning I have managed to vacuum the bedroom, landing and stairs, clean the bathrooms, give the kitchen surfaces a good clean, put out recycling, vacuumed kitchen and dining room. Kitchen looks so much better. The window cleaner turned up, so my outside windows are sparkly and he even did the front door :A so I have even managed an Extra from today's list! I cleaned the kitchen windows while I was at it, as it was obvious where all the dirt was after he had been
Planted my sweet pea seeds in all the empty loo rolls that I had been hoarding so that cleared the utility window sill as well. Just got some bits to get ready for this evening's volunteering.
Quite pleased with what I have managed to achieve today, so if anyone would like to take my guag (not sure whose it is, as it certainly isn't mine!), please help yourselves.0 -
Jazee posivibes, hun.
Dizzy after all that lot, I'd imagine you might be tempted to book DH in for a castration, too.
Nowt done today apart from seeing to Lizzie's needs - I clearly overdid it yesterday and feeling the effects today.
Walkies next - and it looks like it's going to rain soon.....If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0
