but have no motivation or concentration to be able to get stuff done. It's a vicious circle at the moment
I'll second that. I seem to have done nothing except write reports, worry about the ones I haven't written, worry about the other stuff I should have done while I've been writing reports etc etc.
I have actually achieved a lot of stuff in the last few days but it seems relentless. Loads of time taken up by my brother finding better ways to integrate my email and calendar system between accounts - I think it will be a big improvement and it has made me cull millions of old emails that we found lurking; however it is taking ages and of course it takes time away from.....writing reports.
Mr N has manfully worked in the garden, he put up 3 new nest boxes so hopefully there will be some occupants in soon. One of the old boxes had a stand-off between a blue tit and a great tit; blue tit seems to have won. Frogs STILL cuddling in the pond, I envy their energy.
I have booked in for Clubbercise tomorrow, having missed all exercise last week. Actually the house isn't bad; have stuck to Valli's "don't put it down, put it away" which seems to work.
Have a good week all and hugs for those struggling/ill/supporting sick relatives.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -
Me too, please and thank you
I'm seriously considering ordering a skip. My garden looks like a war zone, my house is missing external walls and internal ceilings, the caravan is caked in mud and I'm close to the edge.
Had a weekend with the skids, which always means more work come Monday...
Hugs to all x0 -
Thank you Valli.
Welcome angelpye
Well done for already being ahead, loudmouth!
Lame Wolf, has your doggy visitor arrived?
I will be in during my limited free time this week. I haven't flown properly for a fortnight, and it shows! But the washing is all up to date (until tomorrow morning).
I can cross a couple of things off Monday's list because they're n/a, so that leaves me with:
Level 1
Open the window
strip the bed
clean window
make bed
dust sill
dust curtain rails
Level 2
dust all surfaces
wipe light pulls/switches
polish mirrors
Level 3
vacuum/dust all light fittings
clear detritus from bedside tables
vacuum floors - will delegate to DH
extras
clear bedside cabinets
S&S kitchen and bathroom
I also have plenty of reading and college prep for Tuesday, as well as a long toots list, some of which are beginning to turn into frogs. On Wednesday I am out for most of the day as I'm treating a friend in the East Midlands to lunch for her birthday (but at least I will be able to do some reading on the train); on Thursday DH has to an appointment for a CT scan and the car has to go in to have some trim stuck back on; and on Saturday I am out at a conference all day. I shall try to make an early start in the morning, so I'm off to bed now.
(((Hugs))), spoons and ticks all round as needed, and GWS vines to all the poorlies. Hope everyone has a good week x0 -
Evening all
I'm in and thank you Valli and Natty for the lists.
I'm taking a dive on the bedroom as did it on Friday, but don't worry - I'm sure I'll find something else to do :rotfl:
Hugs all round and hope you all have a great Monday

Welcome!
Technically it's the main (your) bedroom. Kids room may be later on...
Great, thanks for clearing that up. Cleaning windows isn't something I do very often  but will aim to complete list. Thank you for list, looking forward to having some focus rather than flitting around not knowing where to start.Happiness is wanting what you have...0 -
I am in, I will see what I can manage. I haven't lived in my bedroom properly since July. Bedding done last week but unslept in, felines have slept ontop of a throw in there, so I will make an effort with the windows tomorrow after going to the lockup.
Also, need to do more in the kitchen tomorrow aswell. As insomnia is truly biting tonight, I may do a little in there before trying for more sleepThe cold never bothered me anyway0 -
Morning! Awake early going to get up in a minute, sort washing and burn some calories on the spinning bike I need to do some windows this week too, will charge up the window vac.
On with the day!0 -
Hello ladies!
Sent DH off to work this morning. His boss was picking him up as he can't drive for another month and I've got to collect/take/return him from physio later this morning, but am aiming to beautify the master bedroom today.
A wonderful silver frost on the ground, after a flurry of snow yesterday. The daffodils are back in hiding...0 -

Morning all!
I'm in, thank you so much for the list. Awake half the night with DD (growing pains) and DS (tummy ache). They are both dosed up with calpol and going to school/Pre-school though.
Mad busy day ahead, but I am determined to have half an hour to myself later.
WM has just finished, better dash and get these babes out of the door.
Back later xxxMFW
