weird shape beads ideas please

i recently bought a string of beads: picture that coral/red typeof bead but thesize of your vertebrae!!I thought wee buns, this willmake into a nice chunky bracelet or necklace.
problem is the beads are so chunky and heavy i'm not sure what type of fixings to use. think that's the right name for the wire, head pins etc.
does anyone have any tips or ideas what to do with them.
my husband said, what will you do with those huge things and I dont want to prove him right lol.
