There is no point or need to be paying anyone to write a defence and no-one here would recommend a paid-for generic one. You can get no better examples than those you find if you just search the forum for:

Gladstones Jopson defence derogation from grant

If you can't get the hang of searching the forum, simply Google those words and click on 2017 forum results from here or pepipoo. Copy one...

So Google it...as suggested. Or ask someone else to look at it and Google it afresh. Copy one.

No-one here will recommend a paid-for generic defence and I will not be drawn on my honest opinion regarding that.

  • OP, can you give us all the facts of your case?
All I can gather is that you live in a shared house, you went away and left your keys behind, you think (or know) one of your flatmates took the car. The PCN was given at a residential site.
Is the allegation that there was no permit, or that there was a permit but it was incorrectly displayed?
Why do you think that the driver was a legitimate visitor to the site?
What was the date of the PCN and the Notice to Keeper? Was the Notice to Keeper in time under POFA (between day 29 and day 56 after the date of the PCN)?
It's hard to help you when we don't have the basic facts.
I haven't re-read the thread, have you told us who the PPC is?

  • And have you been to the site to see exactly what the signage says and how/where the signs were displayed?

Are the signs shown in this thread like the ones in your case? Could it be the same car park?

A search on pepipoo for 'Jopson, derogation from grant' brings up 7 pages of threads with around 10 threads per page. If you don't find something you can use from there then you just aint looking...

    The search results are here...
