Santander's OUTRAGEOUS fees!
Comments
-
I stopped using Santander counter services, many years ago, after an incident with a "passive-aggressive" lady at my local branch. "You CAN use the ATM machine to draw out money, you know", she told me huffily.
However, last Friday I went to draw some money out of the ATM in the branch and the machine went through the process but gave me no money. I immediately went to the counter and explained what happened. The assistant could not have been more helpful, she made double sure the transaction had not been recorded on my account; gave me the cash and even gave me some good advice how to access my account online and get some rewards that were on offer.
Strange how one incident can shape your opinion of staff. I would feel a lot more positive about dealing with Santander counter staff in future.0 -
I've always thought that un arranged and even arranged overdraft fees are OUTRAGEOUS.
That's why I've only paid 5p (arranged) OD charges in over thirty years
and do everything to avoid them. 0 -

I've never had an overdraft and had my account since 1972. I have always had the attitude that what I can't pay for, I don't have and in the past it did involve just eating beans on toast .hollie.weimeraner wrote: »That's 5p more than me and I've had bank accounts since 1974
