It always seems strange to me that people only see the bad in people when they break-up!
If your ex partner is irresponsible now, chances are he was irresponsible when you were with him. Did he not take drugs when he was with you? What changed?
On the point that you believe you have more rights than your ex may be misguided. Depending on your circumstances, he may have the same rights as you! You might not like that, but he did contribute to the conception so when did his right change?
If you wanted what’s best for your daughter then you might want to consider what is best for her, rather than what is best for you. If it ever gets to a legal dispute, that is exactly what a court will do. Your belief that it is 'best' for your daughter not to see her father is undoubtedly biased by your opinions of him..........0 -
I saw bad in my daughters dad when I was sleeping with him too actually. This is a guy who pushes drugs on other people etc, his sisters children are surrounded by people doing coke etc.....who in their right mind would want their child involved in things like this? The 8 year old lives on beans on toast apparently and other than that the only thing in the house is beer!
He was irresponsible when my child was conceived, nothing changed!
He certainly doesn't have the same rights as me at all! I have sole parental responsibility for my daughter.
I AM considering what is best for my daughter thank you very much! It is best for her that she doesn't see him at all. It wouldn't get to legal dispute either.0
