Why is it that when my HP laptop is plugged in and charging the screen is dimmer than not charging?
Surely it should be the other way round?

Something has gone a bit awry with your power schedule, that's all.
I recently found I've got a bit of a conflict on my laptop between Windows and the Thinkpad power management software, if you change one, the other eventually changes it back.... Quite annoying!“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”
