Ugly bath!

Our bath obviously had a very dodgy grouting job done on it and the edges where it meets the tiles now have a nasty mouldy/orangey brown stain to them.
Is there a way to clean the remaining grout away and clean up the bath on the (bog standard white plastic-y) bath?
Any help appreciated!

It shouldn't be grout, it should be silicon.

If so, then you can quite easily cut it away with a very sharp knife and then a scraper for the remaining bits. You can then re-silicon the whole lot. Make sure that you get the mould / fungus resistant type.

You should fill the bath about 3/4 full before you do this and allow 24 hours for the sealant to set.

You can get something called 'silicon eater' (or something similar) which will help clean off any bits that are particularly messy, or if the fitter went a bit over the top when doing the silicon without damaging the bath.
