PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING: Hello Forumites! In order to help keep the Forum a useful, safe and friendly place for our users, discussions around non-MoneySaving matters are not permitted per the Forum rules. While we understand that mentioning house prices may sometimes be relevant to a user's specific MoneySaving situation, we ask that you please avoid veering into broad, general debates about the market, the economy and politics, as these can unfortunately lead to abusive or hateful behaviour. Threads that are found to have derailed into wider discussions may be removed. Users who repeatedly disregard this may have their Forum account banned. Please also avoid posting personally identifiable information, including links to your own online property listing which may reveal your address. Thank you for your understanding.

Exchanging numbers seems like a good idea which will smooth things along.
Then your buyer turns into a nightmare weirdo pestering you and shouting at you for no good reason and you wish you hadn't.
That's what happened to me.0 -
I'd keep communication at arms length. People are rarely what they seem.0

We left our buyers a note with our contact details when they came back in for another viewing after offer - however we had met them on the first viewing and liked them. It has been helpful for us in sorting out stuff like fixtures and fittings and general questions and we have been respectful of each other's time whilst keeping everyone in the loop. I think I would do the same again if I had met the people and felt ok about them but obviously that depends on the people and your view of them. If you have not met your buyers then I would probably keep it professional.0
