Hello
As someone who backs up photos regularly, there comes that time when you really really need one from an iphone 4 and it hasn't been backed up
I use an iphone 5 now and my Mum has the iphone 4. However it was reset and obviously all phones are now gone on it.
I saw online there's a program imobie and theres meant to be other programs but if the iphone 4 has been reset I'm not sure I'd get the photo back?

Short answer I don't know.... BUT speaking from experience, if you accidentally delete or lose photos, do research thoroughly before installing anything like that on the device, anything you install will over-write the area of the memory where the lost/deleted images were stored, so make sure the program is small, make sure it's WILL work and make sure it's not just one of these cons to make money from peoples misfortune. I lost over 1000 photos when I accidentally deleted an album instead of a photo on my Android phone, I installed an app which didn't work and installed itself over the deleted images, the next app did work but couldn't retrieve those that has been over-written by the other app (or by itself), so in the end I only managed to retrieve approx 3/4 of the lost images.
How it works.............. Imagine your have a book full of 10'000 photos, with an index at the front, if someone rips out the index (DELETE) you can still find the photos, but if they take a sharpie and cover every photo with permanent ink, your never getting the photo back (ERASE).“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

any other apps managing your camera roll like dropbox, onedrive, google etc"The Holy Writ of Gloucester Rugby Club demands: first, that the forwards shall win the ball; second, that the forwards shall keep the ball; and third, the backs shall buy the beer." - Doug Ibbotson0

log into any that you have accounts with and look for photos there. you would have actively had to allow them to manage your camera roll but some are quite persistant so you may be lucky"The Holy Writ of Gloucester Rugby Club demands: first, that the forwards shall win the ball; second, that the forwards shall keep the ball; and third, the backs shall buy the beer." - Doug Ibbotson0
