Wrong Name on an Account in my Experian Credit Report

Hi All,

I've checked my experian credit report and there is an account on there that has a different surname to mine, can i simply ask for them to take this off my report? Has anyone else had any similar experiences?

Another question, i noticed that my current account balance in my report always displays as 0 surely this would have an impact on my score?

    My current account always shows 0

    Just ask them to correct the other information , I had a company credit card for a company nearby linked to my address , I reported it and it was removed

    I shouldnt worry about any impact on your score as only you can see it.
    Focus on getting the incorrect entry removed.
