Intriguing, what miles program would you recommend? I'm visiting because of work but I believe I am able to provide a frequent flyer number.
Many thanks!0 -
BA Avios would be my starting point. Unless you're flying with virgin or any other non-One World airline.colcheslad wrote: »Intriguing, what miles program would you recommend? I'm visiting because of work but I believe I am able to provide a frequent flyer number.

Actually one drawback of flying back from the US to the UK on a US airline is, in my experience, American passengers stay awake talking loudly through the night. UK passengers are usually trying to sleep.
Never had that issue flying from the US to the UK on a night flight on a US airline although my only reference points are Delta and Continental.
I've not flown with Virgin for years, but Premium Economy used to be upstairs on the 747s which is very pleasant. As someone else suggested, I'd otherwise choose the carrier based on who I normally get airmiles with or who was cheapest.0
