Virgin media - upgrade tivo box

We've been with Virgin media with a tivo box for about 4 years. Presumably in this time they have upgraded the tivo box. Anyone know if they upgrade them for free? Presumably there would have to come a point where they would as technology moves on.

    there is a V5 or V6 ? box just come out. It''s early days though.

    I would try and do a deal when your minimum term is up or when they put the prices up

    Just be aware that VirginMedia don't actually broadcast anything in 4K yet (although the V6 box is capable of receiving it in the future).

    No.

    New V6 costs £114.99 to upgrade for existing customers.

    If your current box fails they'll just replace it with similar.
